EdR recently began construction on The Hub Minneapolis, a 707-bed community with a mix of studio, one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom floor plans. The community is located immediately adjacent to the University of Minnesota and is scheduled for delivery in the summer of 2018.
The highly amenitized community features individual study rooms, group study lounges, computer lab, cardio fitness center and robust internet and Wi-fi throughout the building. The rooftop area will feature a pool, hot tub, fire pits and cooking area. The Hub’s penthouse level will feature a chef’s kitchen, bar-top dining area and retractable doors leading to a three-season patio. The plan also calls for 10,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor.
In a joint venture with Laconia Development, EdR recently began construction on a property adjacent to the University of Hawai’i. The community will feature 599 beds in a mix of one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom floor plans; 13,000 square feet of ground floor retail and structured parking. Rooftop amenities will include a fitness center, outdoor terrace lounge, community kitchen, study lounges and gaming areas – all with views of Waikiki, Diamond Head and Manoa Valley. The target delivery date for the community is Summer 2018 or 2019.
Pedestrian to the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon campuses. One on Centre will provide an amenity-rich, upscale, residential experience. The community is set to open in the fall of 2018.
This first and second year housing development at Northern Michigan University represents the largest housing transformation in the university’s history.
The community, currently under construction, also will provide 3,000 square feet (sf) of university space and 1,200 sf of classroom space. In addition, during construction EdR and the university partnered to provide hands-on educational opportunities for students studying in its construction management program.
Strategically located on the north edge of the ASU main campus, the community is only one block to Mill Avenue, the downtown entertainment district, and two blocks to the light rail transit. The community, scheduled to open in summer 2018, is a joint venture of EdR and Opus Development Company.

EdR was selected by Cornell University to redevelop the University’s existing Maplewood Graduate and Professional student housing. EdR will develop, finance and manage the dynamic, 16-acre new-urbanist community which will include 872 beds in a mix of apartment and townhouse units, all with bed-bath parity; over 400 surface parking spaces; and a mix of amenities including retail, fitness center, community center, community garden, trails and a variety of outdoor amenities designed to support Cornell’s growing graduate and professional student population.
Located across the street from the edge of the Iowa State University campus, Union on Lincoln Way is designed to enhance the vitality of the site and the vision of Campustown Revitalization by enriching the area’s pedestrian experience and providing a gateway to Ames’ Campustown.
Players Club represents EdR Collegiate Housing’s first complete redevelopment of an existing community. The new development replaces apartments built in the early 2000s and puts more units in the same successful location.
