Boise State University is boosting its reputation as a Tier 1 research university with the finest undergraduate education in the region and outstanding graduate programs by partnering with EdR to add this Honors College and First-Year Residence Hall to its beautiful campus.
The community will provide 14,720 square feet (sf) of ground floor retail/dining space along with 7,900 sf of Honors College support and active learning spaces.
EdR recently began construction on The Hub Minneapolis, a 707-bed community with a mix of studio, one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom floor plans. The community is located immediately adjacent to the University of Minnesota and is scheduled for delivery in the summer of 2018.
The highly amenitized community features individual study rooms, group study lounges, computer lab, cardio fitness center and robust internet and Wi-fi throughout the building. The rooftop area will feature a pool, hot tub, fire pits and cooking area. The Hub’s penthouse level will feature a chef’s kitchen, bar-top dining area and retractable doors leading to a three-season patio. The plan also calls for 10,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor.

In a joint venture with Laconia Development, EdR recently began construction on a property adjacent to the University of Hawai’i. The community will feature 599 beds in a mix of one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom floor plans; 13,000 square feet of ground floor retail and structured parking. Rooftop amenities will include a fitness center, outdoor terrace lounge, community kitchen, study lounges and gaming areas – all with views of Waikiki, Diamond Head and Manoa Valley. The target delivery date for the community is Summer 2018 or 2019.

EdR provides state-of-the-art housing for students at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania through a multi-phase development. The revitalization is helping to enhance the university’s living-learning environment. While the building designs pay homage to the campus’ historical architecture, they are outfitted with modern and popular amenities, such as a multipurpose room and a social/television lounge to promote a community atmosphere for the underclassmen who reside there.
EdR adds a new living-learning community at Shepherd University. The revitalization is helping to enhance the university’s West campus environment. The facility contains modern and popular amentities such as a multi-purpose room and a social lounge to promote a community atmosphere for the underclassmen who reside there. The building will also offer a new outpost for dining on the West campus, combining a traditional dining hall experience with grab-and-go options. Outside of the new development will be a great lawn and terrace for outdoor dining, study and recreation.
University Flats and Lewis Hall, representing Phase III of the University of Kentucky’s (UK) housing revitalization program, will be delivered in fall 2017.
The combination of 1117 beds and 528,554 GSF will represent one of the larger phases of this historic on campus housing transformation, the largest in history. The work is being undertaken to fulfill “The Kentucky Promise,” President Eli Capilouto’s initiative to revitalize the core of campus, enhance undergraduate education, offer more opportunities to young Kentuckians through scholarships and continue a nearly 150-year legacy of education, research and service to the commonwealth. The revitalization program aims to bring UK’s total on-campus housing to approximately 9,000 beds.
Pedestrian to the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon campuses. The Empire will provide an amenity-rich, upscale, residential experience. The community is set to open in the fall of 2018.
This first and second year housing development at Northern Michigan University represents the largest housing transformation in the university’s history.
The community, currently under construction, also will provide 3,000 square feet (sf) of university space and 1,200 sf of classroom space. In addition, during construction EdR and the university partnered to provide hands-on educational opportunities for students studying in its construction management program.
